We research in all areas of criminal justice, but have recently focused on victim services, geographic profiling of serial offenders, and many others.

A New Victims' Code Consultation

Pazzani & Lee Justice Academy responded to the Ministry of Justice's call for consultation on a newly proposed Victims' Code. We suggested more victim-centred language, making it clear that the reason for the Code was to improve the victim's experience rather than to improve their evidence (as written). We also suggest training and the use of professionals for needs assessment and interactions with children.

Knowledge and Death Penalty Opinion: The Marshall Hypotheses Revisited

This publication was based on research conducted in the United States for Dr Lee's Master's thesis. We examine how knowledge about the death penalty and retributive attitudes impact support for the death penalty.
